Amanda McClees

Sarah Marsden, M.A. CFY-SLP, has a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She has
experience in the school, pediatric outpatient clinic, and inpatient and
outpatient rehabilitation settings. She enjoys working with children
because it is rewarding to help them gain skills and see them flourish
as they become more confident in their ability to communicate and use
these skills on their own!

Amanda McClees, M.A. CCC/SLP has a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has been working at The Therapy Place since 2000. In addition to working with children who have a variety of speech and language needs, she has helped develop and facilitate the social thinking (Michelle Garcia Winner’s ILAUGH) groups/program at The Therapy Place. “Helping children communicate to the best of their ability is a rewarding experience.”

Denise Peick
Denise Peick

Dianna Michels, COTA, has an A.S. in occupational therapy and an M.S. in elementary education. She is currently working towards her Ph.D in education. Dianna’s areas of interest include autism, peer playgroups, and the attainment of functional skills. “I love the connections we make with a child and their family or caregivers.”

Denise Peick, OTR/L, has over 20 years of experience in pediatric therapy. She specializes in sensory integration therapy and has training in therapeutic listening, andis certified in cranial sacral therapy. She has worked in school systems, out patient settings and has had a private practice for home based therapy. “Supporting and educating care givers in their understanding of the child’s needs and how to meet them on a daily basis is the key to successful intervention.”

Megan Sieler, MS, OTR/L, has a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Megan enjoys the challenges and excitement that is presented when working with children. She says “the smile on a child’s face when they are able to complete a task for the first time brightens my day.”

Jennifer Voorhees, OTR/L Jenni has a B.S. in occupational therapy. She has worked in early childhood education and with children on the autistic spectrum. Her specialties are fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills and sensory integration techniques. “Seeing the excitement on a child’s face the first time they master a task is priceless.”
