At The Therapy Place, children with special needs get the help they need to reach their fullest potential for growth, learning, and participation in the greater world. The clinic is a specially designed, child-friendly environment well-suited for children ranging from infants to young teens who face the challenges of autism, Asperger's syndrome, physical or developmental disabilities, attention deficit disorder, sensory integrative dysfunction, Down syndrome, brain injury, or other health or developmental difficulties.

Clinic services include: occupational, physical, and speech therapy; peer play groups; feeding evaluation and treatment; handwriting programs; and a number of other methods and programs designed to help children develop needed life skills. The Therapy Place is known for its work in sensory integration, an important treatment modality for children experiencing learning, motor development, and behavior problems because of sensory dysfunction.
